Objective
Support 16,000 smallholder farmers in Lilongwe, Ntchisi and Nkhatabay districts in achieving economic independence, enabling them to provide for their family's needs.
Beneficiaries
14,810 farmers, representing improved livelihoods for 41,320 people.
Impact
Since the project began, 364 producer groups have been established, farmer income has grown from USD $5,952 to $753,871 (among the 14,810 farmers) 14,000 farmers are saving in 1,700 Saving for Transformation groups and have managed to save USD $443,828.
