Tuesday, January 29, 2019

In Niger, over 50% of families have to travel for over 5 kilometers to access the nearest health facility. The country is vast with more than 80% of the population living in rural settings where access to health centers can be a challenge especially during the rainy season.

Through World Vision Germany funding, World Vision Niger in partnership with Niger’s Ministry of Health, is working to provide rapid-access, lifesaving health care services.

These images come from the recent visit of World Vision US in the region of Dosso, in the Southern Niger.
