East Africa Hunger Response Situation Report - November 2021

A deadly mix of conflict, desert locust infestation, COVID-19 and the climate change crisis have pushed more than 7 million people across six countries in East Africa into a hunger crisis.

This report looks at the needs that exist, together with World Vision's response. Collectively, across six countries (Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Somalia) our emergency response has reached more than 4.3 million people, over half of them children. But the needs continue to be great and the gaps in funding substantial.
