Syria Türkiye Earthquake Response (STER): Situation Report #3

On February 6 two earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.5 magnitudes took place in Türkiye’s Kahramanmaraş Province, followed by subsequent earthquakes of 6.4 and 5.8 magnitudes on February 20. Collectively, 11 provinces in Türkiye’s southeast region and neighbouring Syria
were impacted. The tremors were felt by millions of people across the region up to 1,000km (621 miles) away.
