Being a girl doesn’t mean I am someone’s property.
Sodaba’s father had promised her to his brother’s son when she was still a baby. When she became 11 years old, it was time for her to get married to her cousin, however, she didn't accept this offer and refused getting married. World Vision Afghanistan's Life Skills facilitator took immediate steps when Sodaba told about her forced marriage. She talked with Sodaba’s parents to try to call off the wedding by sharing the negative consequences of child marriage.
