Thursday, November 22, 2018

Fourteen children who attended the Baucau launch of World Vision’s ‘It takes a world to end violence against children in Timor-Leste now!’ campaign on November 14 used their artistic talents to draw pictures on the themes of ending violence against children and women.

Some 80 children from seven schools, representatives from the education sector and Baucau municipality, the General Director for Children’s Rights, a religious leader, national police, the Human Rights Ombudsman and development partners attended the event and committed to ending violence against children in Timor-Leste. The event was supported by KOICA Timor-Leste.  Read on to find out who won the drawing competition.
