PROTECTING CHILDREN AND EMPOWERING THEIR PARTICIPATION ACROSS CAMBODIA
Saturday, May 23, 2026

World Vision International in Cambodia’s Child Protection and Participation Programme works to protect children from violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation while empowering them to actively participate in decisions that affect their lives. Implemented across eleven provinces and Phnom Penh, the programme strengthens child protection systems, promotes positive parenting, builds life skills for children and youth, and creates safe and inclusive spaces for meaningful child and adolescent participation.

Through close collaboration with government ministries, faith leaders, communities, and child-focused networks, the World Vision supports the implementation of national child protection frameworks and contributes to reducing violence against children. World Vision also equips children, caregivers, and communities with the knowledge and skills needed to address emerging risks, including online child sexual exploitation and abuse. By promoting child rights, participation, and nurturing family environments, World Vision Cambodia aims to build safer, more inclusive, and resilient communities where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
