During the reporting period, World Vision Afghanistan delivered sustained humanitarian assistance across health and nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods, protection, and emergency response. 182,955 people accessed integrated health and nutrition services, including outpatient consultations, maternal and child healthcare, immunisation, nutrition screening, and treatment. 18,684 people gained improved access to safe and clean water through rehabilitated water systems and new treatment facilities, while 150 returnee households received hygiene kits and hygiene promotion support. As part of the Eastern Afghanistan Earthquake Response, 11,128 earthquake-affected people in Kunar and Nangarhar benefited from healthcare, nutrition, and livelihoods assistance. 27,756 people were supported through food security and livelihoods interventions, including cash assistance, agricultural inputs, and small business initiatives. In addition, 7,259 individuals received mental health and psychosocial support across World Vision Afghanistan’s operational areas.
