Global Hunger Response Update September 2022

This is the second situation report released by the Global Hunger Response (GHR) and our first 'monthly' sitrep, which highlights our key concerns and ongoing impact. 

Nearly 1.5 times more people (46%) – 50 million – are facing severe levels of acute food insecurity across the globe than 15 months ago. A massive hunger crisis is building as tens of millions are marching towards starvation, with  children being at the forefront of this crisis. World Vision has reached nearly 16 million people, including 8.7 million children, since March 2021.
