Empowering a Healthier Future:

The ENOUGH Campaign's Transformative Impact

The ENOUGH campaign is dedicated to ensuring every child is visible, heard, and thrives. Our strategic advocacy has driven 26 crucial policy changes in hunger, nutrition, and food security, with seven of these securing vital budgetary commitments. We've ignited a powerful movement, inspiring over 32,000 advocacy actions and elevating child voices to global platforms, including the upcoming Global Nutrition Summit in France 2025. Through 14 child-led research projects and 72 impactful Nutritional Dialogues, children are directly shaping policies with their innovative solutions for a healthier world.

Beyond policy, we're building resilience where it matters most. We've empowered nearly 1,000 individuals with sustainable agricultural practices, including Climate Smart Agriculture, and strengthened local health systems by training 126 community health workers. Our direct interventions have provided critical nutritional support to over 6,000 children under five and ensured 54 preschool children received vital midday meals.

In 2023, our initiatives made a profound difference across Sri Lanka: 7,300 underweight children received specialised nutrition support, and 60,641 school and preschool children benefited from daily mid-day meals. We also boosted community resilience by training 4,554 individuals in climate-smart agriculture and home gardening, engaging over 700 mother support group members in community health, and providing emergency cash transfers to 663,402 individuals during the economic crisis.

The ENOUGH campaign's success is a testament to our comprehensive approach, seamlessly blending advocacy with practical, community-driven solutions. From vibrant national mobilisations like kite festivals and street dramas across 26 Area Programmes to establishing a crucial baseline for future decision-making, we're creating a lasting impact, ensuring more children enjoy better food security, nutrition, and a brighter future.
