World Vision's Cash Waves 2025 study revealed that Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) significantly improved communication, financial decision-making, and emotional stability in 99% of targeted households in Northwest Syria. Women, especially female-headed households, gained more agency and participation in household finances.

CVA positively impacted children’s well-being in 79% of households, improving access to education, nutrition, healthcare, and emotional security.

Economic stability increased for all 160 households, though Internally Displaced Persons and high-debt families showed more limited gains.

The findings highlight that while CVA is essential for immediate stability, integration with livelihoods, skills training, and debt-support mechanisms are necessary to strengthen long-term resilience and gender equality.
