Saturday, November 25, 2017

World Vision in support with the Government of Germany have constructed 200 shelters in Baidoa for returnees from Dadaab, IDPs and the vulnerable host community members. 200 households now have an improved quality of life. The construction of the transitional shelters for the most vulnerable beneficiaries is an important step towards better protection. This includes particularly legally guaranteed right of residency and land opportunity rights. The overall goal of the project is an improved quality of life and livelihoods for returnees from Dadaab, IDPs and vulnerable members of the host community in Baidoa through improved income-generating activities and the provision of secure shelters.
