One of the key areas of our work during the year was the humanitarian response towards the support of the Internally Displaced persons (IDPs) in the north. As the conflict intensified it displaced many thousands of people and by the time the war was finally ended some 288,000 people were housed in several displacement camps in northern Sri Lanka.
