World Vision Ghana (WVG) and the Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance access to sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services in three districts Kadjebi, Krachi Nchumuru, and Krachi West.
Speaking on behalf of the participating districts during the signing ceremony, Rev. Harry Nii Kwatie Owoo, Chief Director of the Oti Regional Coordinating Council, expressed gratitude to World Vision Ghana for the partnership.

He noted that the collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to improving public health and service delivery across the region.
“We are grateful to World Vision Ghana for this partnership, which will greatly support service delivery in the areas of water, health, and sanitation. The Regional Coordinating Council will ensure effective coordination, monitoring, and supervision so that all activities align with established service delivery standards,” Rev. Owoo stated.
Representing World Vision Ghana, Cephas Wedam, WASH Programme Manager, commended the ongoing efforts within the Oti Region and emphasised the importance of collaboration in achieving universal service coverage.
“Our goal of achieving universal WASH service coverage can only be realised through strong partnerships. We are here to complement the work that the districts are already doing,” Wedam affirmed.
The MoU formalises the commitment of both parties to accelerating progress towards providing underserved rural communities with universal access to safe water, improved sanitation and hygiene services.

It sets out joint efforts in infrastructure development, behaviour change initiatives, capacity building, and sustainability planning.
The collaboration aims to strengthen local systems and institutions while promoting inclusion, accountability, and safeguarding of children and vulnerable groups.
Representatives of the district assemblies pledged to uphold the provisions of the MoU and ensure its successful implementation.
