Chief Ndake of Nyimba In Eastern Province of Zambia Elated by the Newly Constructed Maternity Annex

His Royal Highness Chief Ndake of the Nsenga-speaking people expressed great elation and gratitude for the establishment of the new Maternity Annex at Mawanda Rural Health Post by World Vision Zambia. During the news segment aired by ZNBC, the chief commended the organisation for their support in improving maternal health services within his community. 

He emphasized that the Maternity Annex will greatly enhance access to quality healthcare for expectant mothers, reduce maternal and infant mortality rates, and promote safe childbirth practices. Chief Ndake also called on other development partners to follow World Vision’s example, to ensure that more women and children benefit from improved health facilities and services in rural areas.
