Survive To Thrive Transforms 40 Health Care Facilities Project
The Survive to Thrive (S2T) Project has had a transformative impact, strengthening health systems and improving lives across 15 districts in Zambia. Over the past three years, we have reached more than 204,000 direct beneficiaries, with nearly 239,000 people impacted overall.
Through targeted investments in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), 40 health facilities now have access to safe water, while 39 facilities have improved sanitation and handwashing services, creating safer environments for both patients and health workers.
The construction of 10 maternity annexes has brought quality, dignified delivery services closer to communities, helping to reduce risks for mothers and newborns. At the same time, training of health workers and community volunteers has strengthened service delivery and driven positive behaviour change at the household level.
