World Vision has been operating in Uganda since 1986. Its first assignment in Uganda was a resettlement program for Luwero district, which area had for 5 years served as a host ground to the National Resistance Army Guerrilla war struggle. Today, the organisation operates in more than 50 districts of Uganda, reaching out to more than 800,0000 people in its interventions of WASH, Education, Child protection, Health systemes strengthening, livelihoods empowerment and emergency response.
