Global Nutrition Champions in 2013

Doctor Nguyen Anh Vu, World Vision Vietnam‟s National Coordinator of Health, was among the 14 award winners for 2013 Nutrition Champions.

Nutrition Champions selected by the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement (SUN) is one of the annual activities of the international Transform Nutrition. The award honors annually individuals around the world for their transformative efforts to improve nutrition, health and opportunities for women and children.


Since 2010, Dr Vu has successfully facilitated the rapid scale up of „nutrition clubs,‟ an integrated, community-based, sustainable approach to address child malnutrition.

Today, there are 521 Nutrition Clubs across 14 provinces where World Vision is working, reaching approximately 17,000 children under the age of 5.
