The Improving Food and Nutrition Security and Resilience of Vulnerable Farmers (IFNSR) project, funded by BMZ and supported by World Vision Germany, aims to strengthen food security, improve nutrition for young children, and build the resilience of vulnerable farming households in Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia. Led by World Vision International in Cambodia in partnership with Wathnakpheap and Sovann Phoum, the project supports 900 households across 73 villages through climate-smart agriculture, maternal and child nutrition education, disaster preparedness, and improved access to local markets. By working closely with local authorities such as the Provincial Department of Health (PHD), Operational Districts (ODs), the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (PDAFF), the District Office of Agriculture (DoA), and the Provincial, District and Commune Committees for Disaster Management (PCDM, DCDM, CCDM), as well as agricultural cooperatives, the initiative helps families build sustainable futures and reduce the need for migration.
