Mirpur Urban Community Empowerment Project (MUCEP) on Waste and Sanitation Management

MUCEP is a 3-year project working to establish, empower, and strengthen community-based waste management led by a WASH committee and a waste management committee. The objective of the project is to transform and improve the living conditions of the community and their hygiene practices including Menstrual Hygiene Management. The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan and individual donors with a total accumulated fund of USD 1.8 million.
