S’Ang Area Programme, with generous support from the people of Canada, fosters accountability for child well-being by engaging a wide range of community actors and partners, including agricultural cooperatives, saving groups, parents and caregivers, youth club leaders, school directors and teachers, Child Protection and Advocacy groups, child protection facilitators, community reading camp facilitators, Child Protection Committees, Commune Committees for Women and Children (CCWC), and the District Office of Education, Youth and Sport (DoEYS).
Through community mobilisation efforts across food security, WASH, education and life skills, and child protection and participation, the programme has positively impacted 10,248 children (5,431 girls), including 6,944 most vulnerable children (3,891 girls), among a broader reach of 28,457 individuals (14,949 females) across 14 villages in 2 communesof S’Ang District, Kandal Province.
