Situation Report: Displacement Caused by Cambodia –Thailand Border Conflict - August 8th, 2025

World Vision has reached over 50,000 people, including 15,000 children, across 56 displacement camps. To ensure accountability, it has established feedback mechanisms in three major camps and supported the Preah Vihear Government in applying the Last Mile Mobile Solution (LMMS) to improve aid distribution. A Psychological Safety Assessment revealed significant emotional distress among displaced children and mothers. The organisation is revisiting its strategy following the latest ceasefire discussions and will continue targeted, life-saving support in Preah Vihear and Siem Reap for the next 15–30 days, while preparing for early recovery once the Government issues safe directives for returns.
