Now in its 13th year, the Syrian conflict continues to present one of the most intricate humanitarian and protection emergencies globally.1 The country has been reeling under many challenges: the ongoing conflict, economic downturn, COVID-19, a cholera outbreak, and the recent devastating earthquake in February, each of which has compounded Syria’s struggles, plunging it deeper into despair. The situation, already dire, has now reached catastrophic levels.
