Permaculture Interview - Vellaveli ADP

We used to cultivate Manioc and corn, but through the project we received a variety of new seeds, so that we can cultivate them and reap harvest for both our home consumption and to sell.

Now we have the opportunity to give our children a variety of vegetables to eat from our own garden. They get to eat fresh vegetables that are free of any chemicals.

Outsiders too come to buy vegetables from us. When there is still left, I sell it in the market.

By selling these long beans alone I receive Rs. 15,000/- (USD 150)

Today we get a good income through this.

The Project also gave us the necessary tools we need to do cultivation.
