World Vision provides cash assistance to flood-affected families in Jamalpur

World Vision in Bangladesh mobilized resources (National Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund $25,000) in the Jamalpur district (Islampur and Dewangonj upazilas) and provided Multi-Purpose Cash Grant (MPCG) support to 400 affected HHs through Mobile Money Transfer (MMT). The Last Mile Mobile Solution (LMMS) has been used in the response programme. LMMS combines software applications with custom hardware to digitise (and simplify) beneficiary registration, verification, distribution planning and management, monitoring and reporting with the ability to integrate with third party applications.
