World Vision partners with local communities to foster peaceful co-existence

In Darfur, years of conflict have threatened peaceful co-existence among neighbouring communities. The possibility of peaceful co-existence is often threatened by tensions and violent clashes between communities, largely driven by competition over limited resources such as water and land.

World Vision is joining hands with key partners- including religious leaders and local peace committees also often consisting of youth and women to bring about long-lasting peace in this volatile region, and spur sustainable development.
