Malnutrition - the silent killer of Afghan children
41% of Afghanistan's girls are stunted; 25% are underweight; 1.6 million children suffer severe acute malnutrition.  World Vision provides nutrition counselling to Nutrition Nurses in Herat province who provides Ready To Use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) to mothers with malnourished children, connecting them with the Ministry of Health.  In just nine months, 200 children have been saved.Learn more about World Vision's CMAM Programming: https://www.wvi.org/nutrition/cmam
