Drama: An impactful entertaining tool to ending Gender-Based Violence

The Natwampane Project, an initiative that aimed to address Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in the Northern Province of Zambia.

The project was funded by the European Union Zambia and implemented by BBC Media Action, Sport In Action, Norwegian Churches and World Vision Zambia.

One of the main strategies of the project was to use drama and theatre as tools to engage communities and raise awareness about SGBV.

During the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV, the project showcased various theatrical performances that highlighted the causes, effects and solutions of SGBV. This video captures some of the scenes and testimonies from the project's participants and beneficiaries.
