3,400 children from vulnerable families participate in World Vision Summer Camps in Armenia. Children aged 9-12 learn bible studies, child rights, healthy lifestyle and nutrition topics.

"Camp is the best week of my summer holiday," says Nina, 9, "It is already the fifth day I'm here and I don't want to go back home. Here I have met new friends. We play together, we learn new things, we compete and enjoy our holiday," she adds.

Camp leaders of this year are the children who attended the same camp years ago. They first went through training sessions on Child Protection, Healthy Nutrition, First Aid and now are able to support and lead children living here for seven days.

World Vision has been organising summer camps in Armenia for 18 years.
