World Vision Ghana (WVG), led by its National Director, Dr Tinah Mukunda, paid a courtesy call on the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) to strengthen efforts in raising public awareness about online fraud and safeguarding children in the digital space.

The meeting was chaired by Mr Divine Selase Agbeti, Acting Director-General of the CSA, with support from Lt. Col. George Beesi, Head of the Law Enforcement and Liaison Unit, and other key stakeholders. Discussions centred on strategies to combat impersonation scams targeting communities and misusing the World Vision brand, as well as enhancing child online protection initiatives.

World Vision Ghana’s Child Protection and Advocacy Unit currently partner with the CSA and seeks to expand joint campaigns to educate the public and respond effectively to fraudulent activities online and in the media. The CSA commended World Vision Ghana as a highly reputable organisation and encouraged its continued efforts to fight misinformation and protect vulnerable groups.

The CSA reiterated its commitment to a “Prevention, Promotion, and Response” approach, emphasising that child online protection remains its top priority. This partnership aims to deliver impactful solutions and maximise reach through collaborative action.

Both organisations acknowledged that public-private partnerships are essential to achieving sustainable change, combining CSA’s technical expertise with World Vision Ghana’s grassroots engagement. The CSA also highlighted its strong belief in fieldwork—an approach that aligns with World Vision Ghana’s core mandate.
