World Vision Armenia has launched ten-day #violencefree social media campaign to promote one of the child’s basic rights to live without violence in the family, in the educational facility, in the community, and everywhere.

World Vision encouraged its followers to photograph children in different settings – with their families, with their friends and classmates and in their communities and post these images on their social media pages with #violencefree hashtag thus encouraging everyone to speak out of the importance of creating violence free environment for Armenia’s children.

World Vision Armenia not only sought to encourage violence-free environment for children, but also collected valuable advice and expertise from parents, teachers and educators on how they managed to exclude violence from children’s life. The campaign aimed to raise children's right for the upcoming two important dates - 19th of November is the World Day of Prevention of Child Abuse and  20th of November - Universal Children’s Day.

World Vision Armenia organized the #violencefree campaign within its global #Ittakesaworld campaign to end violence against children around the world.

During the campaign World Vision collected dozens of photos across Armenia, and collected some pieces of advice which we introduce in this short video
