A birthday without celebrations: The resilience of migrant children
A 6-year-old girl, Amber, faced unimaginable hardships as her family fled Venezuela due to a food crisis. They endured five years of uncertainty in Colombia but decided to brave the dangerous Darien jungle in 2023 to find a better life. Amber celebrated her 6th birthday in the jungle, receiving a cake and a doll. They continued their journey through Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and now Honduras, with Amber serving as their motivation. With the help of organizations like World Vision, they dream of finding a safe and hopeful place to call home. Amber's resilience shines through.
