The 30th Child Rights Convention Campaign: Life in All its Fullness

In this hard time we are facing globally due to #COVID_19, it is important to remember that the rights and emotions of our children are stay in our minds. Let us try to bring them hope, joy and protection from all forms of harm.

At World Vision, we are committed to help our children get their life in all its fullness, through our programs and through joining the internationally renowned conventions that aim to preserve the rights of children. In November 2019, which was the 30th occasion of The Convention on the Rights of the Child, World Vision Jerusalem - West bank - Gaza conducted a two-week campaign that included different activities and areas of its work, which was called “Life in all its Fullness”, focusing on the rights and the protection of children.

As today is the International Day of Sport, as well as the National Palestinian Sports Day, we feature this event because the largest activity that happened within it was a girls football tournament for several partner schools.

في هذه الأوقات العصيبة التي يمر بها العالم أجمع بسبب فايروس كورونا، يجب أن نضع نصب عينينا حقوق وحماية أطفالنا وألا ننسى مراعاة مشاعرهم. دعونا نعطيهم الأمل والفرح والحماية في جميع الأوقات والظروف.

نحن ملتزمون، في مؤسسة الرؤية العالمية، بمساعدة الأطفال في الحصول على حياة كريمة، من خلال برامجنا وكذلك مشاركتنا في فعاليات حقوق الطفل العالمية، متى تسنح الفرصة. في نهاية العام الفائت، وبمناسبة الذكرى الثلاثين لتوقيع اتفاقية حقوق الطفل العالمية، قامت الرؤية العالمية بتنظيم حملة لمدة أسبوعين، تضمنت فعاليات ونشاطات مختلفة في عدة مناطق من أماكن عمل المؤسسة.

وبما أن اليوم يوافق اليوم العالمي للرياضة وكذلك اليوم الرياضي الفلسطيني، نقدم لكم هذا الحدث، حيث كان أكبر فعالياته مسابقة كرة قدم للفتيات بين مدارس مختلفة تعمل مع الرؤية العالمية.
