Thursday, July 27, 2023

These guidelines provide  a  clear  framework  for  child-centred  emergency  preparedness,  response  and recovery. They are intended for use by state and non-state actors directly involved in interventions, as well as other stakeholders whose work may contribute to the overall safety and well-being of children during emergencies.

The development of these Guidelines was achieved through concerted efforts led by the Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection,  together with the Child Protection in Emergencies Working Group (CPiEWG)  members that World Vision Kenya was part of.
