Aquaculture Revives Hope of Fishermen in Western Kenya

Through aquaculture, communities in Kenya's Homa Bay County have found a solution to the dwindling fish populations in Lake Victoria. They now harvest sufficient fish from fishponds, which gives them good profit. This initiative is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development (BMZ), through the Integrated Fish Farming and Horticulture Project, being implemented by World Vision in Kenya.
