`Empowering vulnerable children in East Asia to experience the fullness of life
Present in East Asia for more than seven decades, since our founding in 1950, World Vision has been implementing evidence-based and multi-sector programmes tailored to the specific needs and priorities of local communities. We focus on helping vulnerable girls and boys affected by climate change, migration and the consequent food insecurity while investing in helping communities become stronger and more resilient to shocks and crises.
The negative climate and socio-economic trends observed in recent years, however, have been intensifying the struggles of impoverished families to meet their fundamental needs, or even to ensure their very survival.
More action is needed from us than ever, and we have no time to waste.
