Regreening degraded land with Evergreen Agricultural practices
To address Land Degradation, the European Commission with additional financial contributions from its participating implementing agencies is introducing the Reversing Land Degradation in Africa by Scaling-up Evergreen Agriculture (EVA) Project, a five year initiative from 2017 to 2022 Coordinated by the World Agroforestry Centre. The project in Ghana has the goal of contributing to reversing land degradation and encouraging the practice of Evergreen Agriculture among 40,000 households to cover approximately 80,000 hectare of land.
