Challenging Harmful Behaviours Using Religious Texts: Thematic Brief for the FCC EVAC Research
Tuesday, November 2, 2021

This is a thematic brief for the Faith Communities Contribution to Ending Violence against Children Research between World Vision International, Queen Margaret University, and Columbia University.

This briefs digs deeper into the process of Channels of Hope for Child Protection and how faith leaders and theirs spouses responded in the CoH CP workshops and subsequent behaviours that they adopted (or stopped doing) to further strengthen the protective environment for children in their communities.  Research finds that engagement with religious texts was key in mobilising faith leaders to improve the lives of children.
